How to approach

From Penzance take the A30 then A394 to Helston. Follow signs for Porthleven Road and Boating Lake. The venue is by the lake on Porthleven Road. 

From Falmouth/Penryn use the A394 towards Helston, then pick up Porthleven Road by the lake.

Parking options

On-site hall car park next to the building. Includes disabled spaces. 

Fairground Car Park directly opposite the lake on Porthleven Road. Free 24/7. About 2 minutes’ walk to the hall. Great overflow if the hall car park is busy. 

Tip: the lake area has level paths and is friendly for buggies and wheelchairs.

Aim to park by 10:15 so you can stroll in without rushing.

Your target stop is Helston, Boating Lake. It is practically outside The Old Cattle Market.

• U4 First Kernow: Falmouth – Penryn Campus – Helston – Porthleven – Penzance. Runs on Sundays and serves Boating Lake. 
• 2 / 2A Go Cornwall Bus: Penzance – Marazion – Ashton – Porthleven – Helston. Also calls at Boating Lake. 
• 34 Go Cornwall Bus: Redruth rail station – Helston – Mullion – Lizard. Sunday service runs and links with trains at Redruth. If you’re coming by rail, this is the neat connection
