If you’re exploring faith, or wondering what following Jesus could mean for your life, we’d love to welcome you.
Come along one Sunday or get in touch with us. You don’t need to have all the answers to take your first step.

At KingsGate Church Helston, we’re a family of everyday people who have discovered that God is real and that He transforms lives. Some of us have walked with Jesus for years, while others are only just starting to find out who He is. Wherever you are on that journey, you don’t need to have it all figured out — you are welcome here, just as you are.

When you come along, you’ll find a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where everyone belongs. Our services bring all ages together, with space for children as well as adults. We value honesty and genuine connection, and we believe church should be a place where you can bring your questions, explore faith at your own pace, and discover hope that lasts.

What can I expect if I visit KingsGate Church?

A relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our services bring all ages together, with space for children as well as adults. You’ll hear worship music, a short talk from the Bible, and have the chance to connect with others — but there’s no pressure to take part in anything you’re not ready for.

Do I need to have it all worked out before coming?

Not at all. Some people at KingsGate have been following Jesus for years, while others are just beginning to explore who He is. You’re welcome to come along with questions, doubts, or no faith background at all.

What’s the message of Christianity in simple terms?

It’s about a relationship, not rules. We believe God loves each of us, and through Jesus we can know forgiveness, freedom, and hope for the future.

Do I have to be religious to come?

No. KingsGate isn’t about labels or pretending to have it all together. Whether you’d call yourself religious, spiritual, unsure, or not interested at all, you’re welcome to join us and see what church is really about.

What difference does following Jesus make?

Through Him we can know forgiveness, freedom from fear, and real change in our lives. He gives us the power to love, to grow, and to live with hope.

What if I still have questions?

That’s completely okay. Church should be a safe place to ask, explore, and learn. We’d love to walk with you as you discover faith at your own pace.
